    • LED
    • Resistor 220 Ohms

    The resistor (value depending of the LED power) has to be soldered on the longest LED wire



    +5 Volts is taken from the connector, you can open the connector and close it without any difficulties

    The trickiest part is to solder on pin39 the signal (negative)

    You should also verify carefully your soldering, this tool may help



    Drill a 3mm hole or bigger depending on LED size

    I went for the most expensive Kit on ebay.fr, which allow you to replace the broken screen by removing 2 screws, an connecting 3 cables!

    By the way I would NEVER send any phone to anyone, how do you think all these private pictures land on forums? removing the sim card is not enough, there are tools to fetch data even after the have been removed!

    Step 1

    Remove the 2 small Phillips screws located at the bottom of the iPhone

    Using the suction cups, pull up the screen upper part while retaining the body, it will come with no efforts

    Step 3

    Look at the connectors that you will have to pull off using the tool. Apple numbered the black ribbon cables 1, 2, and 3. The ribbon 3 being hidden under the cable that connect to 2. Just pull the cables in that order 2,1 and 3 off,

    Step 4

    Connect the new screen by plugging in that order 3, 1 and 2. Verify proper operations before closing with the 2 Philips screw the case back.

    Merlin (sometimes known as Merlin, the Electronic Wizard) was a handheld electronic game first made by Parker Brothers in 1978. Merlin is notable as one of the earliest and most popular handheld games, selling over 5 million units during its initial run, as well as one of the most long-lived, remaining popular throughout the 1980s. A version of the game has been recently re-released by the Milton Bradley Company.
    Merlin was created by Bob Doyle, a Harvard PhD. and inventor who had previously worked with NASA. Merlin took the form of a rectangular device about eight inches long and three inches wide. The play area of the game consisted of a matrix of eleven buttons; each button contained a red LED. The array was encased in a red plastic housing, bearing a slight resemblance to an overgrown touch-tone telephone. Four game-selection and control buttons were also placed at the bottom of the unit; a speaker took up the top section. Supporting electronics (including a simple microprocessor) were contained within the shell of the game.

    Parker Brothers later released Master Merlin with more games, and the rarer Split Second, where all games involve time with a more advanced display, sporting line segments around the dots. Both of these share the same general case shape, and came out a few years after Merlin.

    Principe :
    Le principe repose sur l'utilisation d'un oscillateur, constitué par le circuit intégré 555, dont la fréquence varie de 16 KHz à 78 KHz environ, grà¢ce au potentiomètre. Les signaux de sortie sont appliqués à un sextuple inverseur, utilisant le circuit 4069, dont les portes sont montées en parallèle deux à deux, afin de fournir plus de courant. Les inverseurs attaquent ensuite, en opposition de phase, deux jeux de transistors complémentaires de puissance T2-T4 et T3-T5, à travers les transistors préamplificateurs T6 et T7.
    Le piézo est monté en pont entre les sorties de cet étage, qui lui fournit une tension cràªte à cràªte, égale au double de la tension d'alimentation, prise à la sortie du redressement.
    L'alimentation continue des circuits intégrés, est obtenue à partir du secteur 220 dont la tension est abaissée à 12 V par le transformateur, puis redressée par le pont de diodes D1 à D4
    et filtrée par le condensateur C1. Cette tension est ensuite stabilisée à 6,2. V par le transitor T1, et filtrée à nouveau par le condensateur C3. il suffit de coller a la bi composants un haut parleur piezo sur le fond d'une boite métallique et de le connecter entre A et B. Alimenter en 220V entre les deux points 220.
    Taille de la cuve : N'esperer pas avoir une cuve plus grande qu'une boite de conserve, au dela je reste sceptique (montage 4 Watts), je reste sceptique quand a coller un piezo sur une cuve métallique, esperer la résonance de la cuve et observer des zone de compressions/détente qui les accompagne...
    Efficacité : oui cela marche mais pour de petits bijoux. Peut etre q'en montant la cuve sur une ponceuse électrique vibrante donnerait le màªme résultat.
    Remarques :Les systèmes professionnels font plus de 400 Watts et on recommande de ne pas mettre la main dedans en fonctionnement. Il chauffe la solution, des fois a plus de 70 degrées (l'agitation moléculaire : mvt brownien augmente et peut etre par la meme la cavitation (explosion des bulles de vapeur suite a une detente brusque)), et utilisent des solvants : (trychlo), eau, solution détergente. De toute facon, je pense que le secret réside dans le transducteur (partie maitresse et breveté) car le reste n'est qu'un oscillateurs variable. Solution ? je n'en ai pas, demander si les industriels ne vendraient pas que la tàªte, ou acquérir un système d'occasion.
