Playstation Home Beta Opens To the Public

Yesterday Sony launched the open beta for Playstation Home, the virtual world designed for Playstation Network community members. While server are not fully stable, everybody can not enjoy traveling through the virtual world of HOME for PS3

Playstation Home, a new free-to-download community based service for the PlayStation Network, which allows users to create an avatar character for their PlayStation 3 system. This avatar will have its own apartment, which can be adorned by items players can receive following various achievements. Home will be a Second Life-like experience and will allow PlayStation 3 owners to interact in a virtual world. Home will also act as a meeting place of sorts for players who want to play multi-player games on the PlayStation 3.
