HTC Desire HD video
I did have the chance to try a HTC Desire (non HD with Android 2.1) 3 week end in a row, and I did really like what i was seeing compare to my iPhone 3GS.
- Android speed of browser is better, while in WIFI using some sites as references
- Flash 10.1 is working (depends how the site is defining video transfer rates, and pictures quality)
- Google latitude and Google Skye are nice and exclusive to the Android platform.
- Google Street Maps with voice (aka navigation or turn by turn with voice output) is FREE and replace Tom Tom/ Garmin expensive software (yes it do less for now, but you can beat something free that’s already very good)
HTC desire HD
Made of a solid block of aluminum, a 1GHz 8255 Snapdragon processor, 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and 720p video recording, Dolby Mobile, and HSPA+ data with 802.11n WiFi and enhanced HTC Sense experience with HTCsense.com services (backup, erasing/locating device remotely)
But I will wait a bit more till Android Gingerbread (3.0) and Dual Core CPU at 1.5GHz (crazy) appears in Smartphone
