Technology, society has only come this far by building on the work of the people before you! the patent system is broken and useless: UPSTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) don't even check if something was invented by another person or company. Just so long as no one has patent you can do it even if you are NOT the inventor!!!

Apple just did steal the idea and is trying to convince the world that they did create it.
The Verge is reporting that, in particular, Samsung pointed to the Diamond Touch device — developed in 2001 at the Mitsubishi Electronic Research Laboratory — which included predecessors of both pinch-to-zoom and Apple’s bounce-back effect. The device, available in the MERL lounge for anyone to use, saw images snap back into place, rather like they do in iOS, and featured an application called Fractal Zoom, which allowed users to manipulate and zoom in on images using multiple finger gestures.

Jailbreak
- Download and install the latest version of iTunes 10
- Use CYDIA AptBackUp to also save your "non approved apps", When you next back up your iPhone up with iTunes this application create a list that is backed up as well. So next time you have to restore or upgrade you restore from ITunes install AptBackUp and CYDIA will install all the apps/mods on the list.
- Start iTunes and sync your iPhone to save all your data
- Download Sn0wbreeze http://bit.ly/bKcoHy and the original iOS 4.1 firmware files for your version of iPhone/iPod
- Only the 1.8beta support iOS 4.1 download here http://bit.ly/ahVzJL
- Start Sn0wbreeze and select “Simple Mode”, browse for your .ipsw file, “Do you want to activate your iPhone?” NO,it create the custom .ipsw
- Restore your iPhone wit that custom firmware (latest iOS with old baseband :-)), click SHIFT then on restore, locate file and wait...wait
- When you have latest firmware, just restore your data using the backup done previously at point 2
- Run CYDIA to install AptBackUp again
- Run AptBackUp and click restore to get all your non approved applications back!
