The Joomla Project announces the immediate availability of Joomla 1.5.10 [Wohmamni]. This is a security release and users are strongly encouraged to upgrade immediately.
This release contains 66 bug fixes, one low-level security fix, and one moderate-level security fix. It has been 11 weeks since Joomla 1.5.9 was released on January 10, 2009. The Development Working Group's goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community.

Statistics for the 1.5.10 release period:

• Joomla 1.5.10 contains:
  • 68 issues fixed in SVN
  • 281 commits
• Tracker activity resulted in a net decrease of 8 active issues:
  • 176 new reports
  • 133 closed
  • 68 fixed in SVN
• At the time the 1.5.10 release was packaged, the tracker had 95 active issues:
  • 44 open
  • 40 confirmed
  • 11 pending

I’ve just update my unofficial Joomla! mirror with the latest version (1.5.10), starting from now on, the list of files is generated using Snif (simple and nice index file)

This mirror exist solely for people living dangerously :-) aka people that use a very old version of Joomla! and do not find anymore a way to go to the latest version (Joomla! do not have all version to date as download)

Starting from now on, in order to

• Increase quality of my components and other (JoomlaComment :-))
• Reduce time between releases,
• Avoid subtle or recurrent issues

I will set up a continuous integration  build server at 

Continuous integration describes a set of software engineering practices that speed up the delivery of software by decreasing integration times.

• Maintain a code repository, the code will stay at JoomlaCode.org subversion
• Automate the build, with Maven for PHP/Ant and either teamcity or phpundercontrol.org
• Make my build self-testing with PHP Unit and Selenium IDE
• Everyone commits every day,
• Every commit (to mainline) will be built with the help of triggers,
• The build will be fast,
• Test are done in production environment, by deploying code to  old and new version of Joomla! 1.0 and 1.5 "not web accessible" (for obvious security reasons),
• It will be easy to get the latest deliverables by visiting http://continuousbuildserver.waltercedric.com
• Everyone will see the results of the latest build by visiting http://continuousbuildserver.waltercedric.com
• Deliverables will be automatically deployed.

In short (for all non developer), this program will

• Monitor any changes of code
• Trigger a build,
• Deploy the build to different versions of Joomla! 1.5 (5 versions should be enough)
• Run a set of tests against these Joomla! versions and
• Make the result available to all of you.

Soon as there is enough test cases, it will be safe to download any new release from there.
