Not working on all PCs...
DDL (24.200.149.xxx) 2006-04-16 15:11:05

having a weird problem with securityimages 3.0.4. The image doesn't show and I
get the text "This image contains a scrambled text, it is using a
combination of colors, font size, background, angle in order to disallow
computer to automate reading. You will have to reproduce it to post on my
homepage".

What can be the problem?

Thanks in advance

DDL (63.250.99.xxx) 2006-04-17 20:56:43

Hi through the wiki I was able to get the images working now. My GD settings was
the problem.

Still have one more issue: the security images are not showing
for the lost password area even though it is enabled in the general settings.
Anybody have the same problem?

Her are my settings:

Login No

Registration Yes
Lost password Yes

Thanks for your help Walter

You need to overwrite some Joomla files using the modified code. This package
"Patch for Joomla 1.0.8" can be download at the forge or here...If it's
already done but still not working, I wll look at it.

Please also document
what was false in GD, and how You solve it in the wiki...to help others

Hi!

I use akobook plus 1.1.3 and joomla 1.07

what can I do?

thx
RE: akobook?
Walter Cedric (80.218.23.xxx) 2006-04-19 22:21:32

that was a bug in akobook1.1.3

the file is not named
config.securiyimages.php
but config.securityimages.php

open file
components/com_akobook/akobook.php on line 26 and add a "t", personnaly
I would make a backup of DB, update to joomla 1.0.8, latest components version,
and eventually restore akobook table afterward...

normally I do not give
support if you have an old version + it is better to ask people in forums...
