The model 2006 of the DS650 will be available in only one model, the DS650X. With the proven 653CC High Output Rotax engine this quad comes ready to race. Liquid-cooling, four-valves, dual cams, and dual sparkplugs work to deliver the most power and touque in this class of quads. Suspension travel is 12 inches up front and 11 inches in the rear. High endurance components include 6-bolt sprocket mounting, dual taper bearing carrier, aluminum axle and a 290 watt stator.  The previous model, the DS650 Baja X was has won the 2004 Baja 1000km, 500km and 250km and the Dakar Rally in 2005.
